Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. Today, our first international conference of the Iraqi Society of Metabolic and Obesity Surgery concluded with great success, with the testimony of all the Arab and foreign visitors who attended the conference and their fascination with the level of organization and scientific level of the conference. Strenuous efforts from everyone joined forces to make the conference a success and reflect a bright image of Iraq and its people in front of their Arab and foreign guests. It was one of the largest scientific conferences in terms of hosting and participation of Arab and foreign surgeons.
